Elizabeth Bate

I’m an award-winning writer and communications professional based in the Greater Toronto Area.

You’re not looking for just any content creator or social media guru, you need a storytelling superhero.

With more than 15 years of experience in journalism, communications and creative writing I can help you tell your story and connect with your audience. Whether it’s helping you to build a new brand or work with your established voice, I can provide the content support you need to make an impact.

My previous experience includes writing for local, regional and national publications including the Telegraph-Journal in Saint John, New Brunswick and a national business magazine. I’ve also created ad copy and communications plans for Fortune 500 companies, national non-profits and political organizations.

Over the course of my career I’ve won several awards for my journalism, photography and creative writing, including the Dorothy Shoemaker Award for best short fiction in 2008.

As a graduate of the competitive creative writing program at the Humber School for Writers, I have the knowledge and experience to help you edit and refine your creative writing project.

I offer a variety of services from copywriting, article writing and social media consultations to novel editing and beta reading services.

Please see my list of services here.
